Critical Illness Claim - "I never expected to get the news that I had Breast Cancer"

Here is the story of Mrs Newiss from Bradford, who had to make a claim on her Critical Illness Cover:
At the age of 40, I never expected to get the news that I had Breast Cancer.
I have a husband, 4 year old child and a mortgage, the last thing I need was to be off work struggling financially and thankfully I haven't had to.
With my life insurance, I took out a separate policy for Critical Illness and after paying into the policy for 2 years I was paid a full lump sum - I was also provided additional money to help pay my travel costs to and from hospital for treatment.
This has helped us as a family no end and meant that I could be off work and getting my health back.
